ROSE HIPS, JASMINE AND GUNS

I was sitting waiting for my space, or what I deemed to be “my space”, in the parking lot feeling rushed at the end of a busy day.

I woke up in the clouds this morning and what could have been a wonderful mystical experience became something quite less. It was a bit of a shock.

They stare back at me from their eerie silence, these ghost ships in the harbour, as the smoke from the fires cloaks them in a golden haze.
